I’ve never been a fan of beets, but now I Love Beets!
A few years ago, I had the unique opportunity to tour the Love Beets newly built, state-of-the-art production facility which is located in Rochester, New York (where I currently live).
I was blown away with the process, precision and passion of everything and everyone around me.
At the end of the tour, they generously gifted me a big cooler packed full of variety of their products. My whole family became immediately hooked.
These are not the canned beets your grandmother used to serve. They are unique and tasty and have a lot less sugar than competitors. My two favorite kinds are pickled beets with white wine/ balsamic and sweet chili, but there are lots to choose from. They also sell baked beets which are perfect to use for cooking and smoothies.
Beets are highly nutritious and loaded with vitamins and minerals. In fact, they contain a bit of almost all of the vitamins and minerals your body needs (folate, manganese, and copper to name a few).
